Description

This chunky pendant has a lot going on! Firstly the hand cut silver oval has been reticulated then fine silver dust and a few tiny balls have been fused to the surface to create a coastal beachy scene.

I've then set three stones onto the pendant - a beautiful piece of faceted Larimar, a smooth blue Apatite and a small sparkly Topaz.

The focal stone is the Larimar, a rare stone that is only found in Dominican Republic and this is a particularly nice piece.

Reticulation is a lengthy process which eventually brings pure silver to the surface of the sterling then the metal is carefully heated so that the surface just starts to melt and forms texture and wrinkles. 

The pendant measures approximately 2.2cm wide and 3.7cm long and hangs on a 45cm chain. It is quite heavy and therefore has been assayed and hallmarked.
