Solid silver bangle, twisted by hand and finished with a brushed satin texture
These bangles have been made from oval profile wire which I've twisted several times by hand before soldering, so creating a softly undulating surface. I've gently rounded it without squashing the turns then after polishing I sand back the surface to create a satin texture.
The bangles are very tactile and make me think of photographs of flowing water taken with a long exposure.
There are two thickness, one is about 4.2mm wide, the other about 3.2 wide, the wider one weighs almost twice as much.
Both are over the legal weight for selling unmarked silver in the UK so will be sent to the Birmingham Assay Office to be hallmarked, so you can be assured it is genuine sterling silver.
The easiest way to choose your size is to measure the inside diameter of a bangle that already fits you.
